SVA offers strong preparation for college as its central focus and many outdoor sports and activities as a catalyst for personal growth and achievement. SVA maintains a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduates.

  • Located 200 miles east of San Francisco and 45 miles west of Reno, SVA sits at the foot of Squaw Valley ski area, site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. At an elevation of 6,200 feet in a superb Alpine setting, SVA offers easy access to Lake Tahoe and nearby forests, meadows, lakes, and rivers. Squaw Valley Academy is in the small residential community of Olympic Valley, with commercial centers easily accessible 5 miles south in Tahoe City and 10 miles north in historic Truckee.
